| Is this normal? Hey everyone! Bella got spayed on Thursday 11/9 and she seems to be doing okay except she keeps peeing all over. She has peed in her bed twice and on her blanket whick are both places she loves and has NEVER gone in before. I have been taking her out just like we always do and she has even asked to go out. She has been fine at night, and I had to run some errands today and I put her in her kennel and she did not go, I don't know if it is normal for them to have uncontrolable bladders for a few a days or if she is just mad at us! HELP! |

| Emma had accidents a couple days after her spay too. There are a few other threads about this too. For Emma, this lasted about a week, and now she's back to normal. I think it was the anethesia (sp?) and the pain meds she was on after the surgery-I think it made her tired, and then she'd wait until she REALLY had to go before she'd get up and go. Our doggie daycare lady said that this was common, and she thought it was because of the muscles after surgery, that everything got kind of moved around when they were spaying, and that it probably hurts to go, so they hold it, and don't always know when they need to. I'd say if it lasts more than a week or so, I'd take her in to the vet. |
