| Who feeds Timberwolf Organics?? I was just curious to see who feeds Timberwolf Organics and how do you like it? Which flavor do you feed? The Wild & Natural flavor got 6 stars on the Dog Food Reviews Website. The only thing that worries me about the Wild & Natural flavor is that it has 36% protein. Is this too much protein? The other flavors got 5 stars and are a little lower in protein. I am interested in trying Timberwolf, so I was just curious to see who else feeds it. |

| The breeder I got Gracie from fed Timberwolf. The kibble was too big for Gracie to handle at the time (8 weeks) and the nearest place to me that sells it was just too far away. Those two factors prompted me to change her over. She now eats Nutro Ultra.

| I was just looking on their website and they offer free shipping on almost every product I looked at. How big are the kibbles exactly, if you had to compare it to something? Penny-size? Dime-size? Bigger or smaller than that? |

| They are adult size rather than puppy size. I looked at some I still have. I guess they are a bit larger in diameter and thickness than an Advil/Ibuprofen tablet. They are 2-3 times larger than the Chicken Soup puppy formula, and 3-4 times larger than the Royal Canin tiny puppy formula. I tried smashing them and moistening them but Gracie still would not eat it. I think you could do just as well with a quality store bought food, with much less hassle, IMO.

| Hi RLC - Here's the Scoop on Timberwolf Organics... I researched this one for a long time, and I truly believe that the "Black Forest" variety is the best one for our Yorkies. It's 22% protein, AND THE KIBBLE IS VERY SMALL. My guys love it. It has no chicken or poultry. Although they have not been allergy tested yet, I feel they have a reaction to chicken, turkey, duck, and sweet potatoes. I was a "Wellness" user for a long time, but they put sweetpotatoe in everything they make. Timberwolf and Innova Evo Red Meat are great alternatives to feeding raw, which I feel uncomfortable doing. If your furkids can eat chicken, Nature's Variety Praire makes a grainfree mix to which you can add other proteins, and Timberwolf suggests that you add raw or cooked meats and/or eggs. I either alternate or mix the two. For in depth info on feeding, please subscribe to: http://whole-dog-journal.com
