| Yorkie Licking Bed Sheets, etc. My little Yorkie was diagnosed with Kidney failure a couple weeks ago and is taking medicine and eating special dog food for that. I noticed she is constantly licking the bed sheets, my clothing, furniture and just about anything. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks |

| Gidget use to lick everything. Drove me crazy when I would cover up or lay on a something wet. Now I even miss those little things. She was a licker, now I have a biter. Which do I prefer? who knows, both I guess since I love them so much. |

| I am so sorry about the diagnosis Licking is a way of 'exploring' for them. It's kinda like babies putting everything in their little mouths.

| I haven't had a whole lot of different breeds of dogs, but of those I have had, the Yorkies lick more than I remember any of the others doing. After a while, it just drives you nuts. Those of you that have had lots of different breeds, do you find the Yorkies lick more?? Thanks |

| Strange that today I came across this thread. A couple of us were just discussing Yorkie licking fetishes! I have one who licks paper, then shreds it I have one that licks skin, face preferred including inside nostrils! She is quicker then us, I think she has made a game of it, she will [pop up like a toaster does, when you least expect it and gets a good lick inside your nose!! Sissy on the other hand, licks very little, but paper, now let me see. In the last 2 days alone she managed to lick to death 3 magazines I haven't gotten to read yet, 2 pads of paper and a notebook. Yesterday I walked in and thought I got robbed , then I realized it was only Sissy and her fetish. While licking paper, she chews it, slobbers it, then sticks it everywhere, so hard to peel back off the wood floors especially. Why? Why CHloe has the nostrils in mind???? Like the one member said they are exploring? So, is Chloe trying to find a new world up my nose? HA HA

| ROFL.....I thought I was the only one with a nose licker......just the other day I was laying on the couch watching football when Cooper jumped up and was giving me kisses. All of a sudden his tongue was IN my nose....I jumped up and started laughing...scared him and myself. Glad to know I'm not alone or Cooper isn't wierd....lol. |
