| Update: Sandy is now home. All the tests and x-rays came back fine and she is almost completely back to her old self. The vet and we are stumped. He believes it is a behavior problem as a result of stress from her former life. We have her on a chicken/rice diet right now to see if that helps with the skin problems. I'm just thankful to have my baby back

| I'm glad she's home now and doing a little bit better, I hope she gets to her normal self soon! I will still keep her in my prayers. for the skin problem, is it dry? is that what you mean kind of skin problems? because if it is, you should try Missing Link Supplement. It works wonders for Dry Skin and also for some weird reason it works for Doggies who constatly lick/chew their paws. well god bless and keep us posted on Sandy! |

| Aimee, I'm so glad Sandy is back home. Do you know anything about her life before you got her? Was she abused or did she come from a puppy mill? How awful that those things could still be affecting her.

| Just read this thread and wanted to say that we are glad everything came back negative and that Sandy is getting back to her old self again. I guess to know what happened to her before she was blessed with her new family might shed some light on what is going on...if only she could talk! Just keep on loving her as I am sure you do! We will keep you guys in our thoughts and prayers. Debbie G. - Oscar's Mom "Greet everyone as you would your dog" |

| I wasn't on here much today and I missed the fact that Sandy wasn't feeling well. I am so glad it was nothing too serious and she is doing so much better. I'm sorry she gave you such a scare Aimee. She is a special girl. |

| I know you are so relieved about the test results aimee! We are too!!! There is nothing like being reunited with your baby and I know you must be drowning her with hugs and kisses right now Poor little baby. I've had BItsy for about 7 months now and when she gets nervous or when we come back home from an outting, she HAS to go get her baby(her stuffed one) and put it in her mouth and she'll pace back and fourth with it until she calms down. I've always wondered why she does that! Separation anxiety maybe. I've also wondered if maybe she does that because her pups from her previous litters were taken away too soon Who knows. Sometimes I wish Bitsy could talk but what she'd probably say about her past would break my heart At least your little Sandy is in good hands now and you will more than make up for anything she's been through! Give her a puppy kiss from me
