Question about Missing Link i just bought missing link today for Layla. i put some on her food.. however it just all falls to the bottom, also, typically layla doens't eat everything in her dish.. some days she will.. some days she won't, so i guess my question is, does anyone mix their missing link into something like yogurt for their pups to eat? or any other suggestions on how to get it in her and not on the bottom of her food dish

I only put a little food in their bowl in the mornings and mix the ML around so that it gets on every piece of kibble and then when they eat all of that, I put some more food in there without ML on it. Then it doesn't matter if they eat all that or not.

Missing Link has to be refrigerated after it's opened, I wouldn't recommend putting it on dry food and just adding to it daily. I give each of my boyz 1/8th of a teaspoon of ML mixed in with about a tablespoon of their soft food every morning for breakfast. It's not enough to fill them up because they go straight ot their bowl of hard food when they're done. Soft food isn't a good idea for the major portion of their diet but since mine only get a TBSP a day it's more like a treat and it's o.k. I keep a bowl of hard food out all day but I don't put any ML in with it.

(layla also sends a big thank you for bringing soft food back into her life!) |

You're right...they definitely look forward to the soft food in the morning. My boyz go outside, do their stuff and then head for the kitchen...they each have their favorite place to sit and eat and that's right where they go. I'm glad I could brighten Layla's day!

I guess I should ad that I only use 1/8th of a tsp. because I'm just starting them on the ML Plus and I don't want to upset their stomaches. I'll increase the amount to the recommended dose over a couple of weeks.
