How to shave the hair How do you shave your yorkie's ear? Mine has grown a lot of hair and it makes his ears flop, so I was wondering what do you use to shave it off, or do you just go to the groomers and let them shave it? Thanks!!!

I actually use a beard trimmer (or a bikini line trimmer would work too) for Winnie's ears and bum bum. Works pretty well.

| I would just cut his ear hair (the outside). It's real thin and I didn't want to take a chance with myself or boyfriend putting a razor too it. Just a few light snips and it was a lot cleaner. Hope this helps

Thanks! I will try that later...I don't know how to use a razor so I won't take any chances of using it on him. I hope he let me cut some of his hair, he's a little bit wiggly, so it makes my job harder.

I trim it with scissors but you have to be real cafeful and hold the head and ear really still and firm so you don't cut the ear by accident.
