| water question please help :) My baby is 7wks and 3 days old...he eats fine, but I notice that he wont really drink his water...although he is urinating allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day long lol every chance he gets he is peeing. So now you say well if he is peeing all day then why are you worried about water...well when I see him drink his water his nose is wet, but I know for a fact today that he hasn't been drinking a lot of water and now his nose is not very wet. Anything I can add to water? like sugar or something? Fruit 2O or sumthin? Thanx in advance |

| I don't really know about dogs, but the symptoms you described sounds like your puppy may have a Urinary Tract Infection or Bladder Infection. When you say he goes allllllllllllllllllll day long, does that mean really frequently? ...or just a few times a day?

| Well not allllllllllll day long but I guess normal for a puppy....now that you said sumthing about cold water from the fridge I think that may be the problem because when he was drinking more water it was from the fridge and today I just tried the tap, so I think that is the problem. I'm gonna go put some in the fridge and when he wakes up, I will see if he drinks it. I'm thinking he will... |

| They get water from canned food too. If you look at the label you will see most canned foods are 78% moisture. Their water requirements are not as high as what you would think - one ounce (1/8 cup) per pound of body weight per day. They do enjoy cold water though, especially in the summer. |

| I boiled the water first and put it in the fridge. It worked for me and Piccolo.
