My furkids Donating Member | question on Corona vaccine Lillie has been going to get her shots from the breeder (she asks for a donation and gives it to the local dog officer to help with costs) I asked that she not give Lillie the Lepto (Sadie didn't get it either) but, she isn't giving the Corona either...Is this bad? The shot she gives is DHPP. I just read a post where a puppy died from Corona...I asked what Corona was and she told me that it is like Parvo...could I get some input here? Thanks everyone!

| Dogs over 8 weeks are not susceptible to corona - here's a texas law suit going on about the vaccine. I dont give it to mine - it has never even been proved effective so why risk the side effects. http://www.petresource.com/Articles%.../texas_vet.htm |

| You would be best to find out if corona is even in your area. FOr most Yorkies, Corona vacc's have serious side effects. I don't do or recommend it for my dogs or puppies. |

My furkids Donating Member | Thank you for your replies. I was wondering about this shot...Lillie has just recently gotten to feel the earth anyway...Lots of wild animals come into my back yard and neighbors dog uses it as a potty!
