| HELP!!! I just found some worms in Lilos treats!!! OMG I bought Lilo one of the dry treats that looks like a hotdog, but it's a dry ostrich meat, which Lilo loved at the dog store, so I got it for her about a week ago! well... today I was giving her some of it, and then some small ( size of rice grain) bug stared walking on my hand where i was holding the treat...so as I looked closer i saw a bunch of small white larvas/worms inside the treat.Yuck Yuck Yuck....... so now I'm worried about Lilo, BC I don't know how many of them did she ate, and if they are bad for her, since they were swallowed with the treat. Anyone had simiilar problem ? Please HELP BC I don't know if I should worry about it and call my vet or what.

| Those worms will not hurt her. They get into dry food. i even found them in some mice poison. But you might wnat to check throughr your cupboards to make sure they did not get into your other food. |

| I agree with cloeandj, take them back and complain and get your money back. I complained at Petco the last 2 months I went to buy a Royal Canin product and the date was 2 months old on the bag. I asked the clerk, "would you eat food that was outdated?" And she replied " NO ". So I told her that I wouldn't either and I definitely wouldn't feed my dogs outdated food. We have to protect our babies too. It was probably an old package that you got accidently. You deserve to complain and get your money back. |
