I am all about this vinegar!!!
Here's what I found: 1 tsp vinegar to 1 quart water for drinking.
1/4 gallon vinegar to 3/4 gallon water for bathing
Thats from thrifyfun.com so just know that's not from a vet or anything...but it seems to be working for other people.

I'm so interested. is there any side effects and does it make the water sour being vinegar?

In the drinking water, it neutralizes the pH level of their bodies, which corrects bad breath and the yellow stains their pee makes on the grass. I am not aware of any negative side effects, except for if your little one has problems with her digestive tract, which you would be aware of.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I guess I didn't order a big enough size to use in the bath. I only ordered 32oz. I guess I would need the gallon size to use it as a rinse after a bath. Man, that would get expensive, though, wouldn't it?!:rolleyes:

My Codie is ALWAYS licking his feet -- but he doesn't scratch a lot. :confused:

I bet he's allergic to something out in the yard in the grass...maybe pollen or the grass itself. That is probably why only his feet itch. I dunno though...just a thought. :p

I live in Brooklyn ... we really don't have grass. LOL! :D He walks on cement every night and only on grass when we go to the park every weekend. I guessed it was an allergy but to what?? There is no soy or corn in his food. :confused:

Hummmmmm, that's odd! :p There's no telling what he may be allergic to! :rolleyes: Maybe you can just be extra aware of what he walks on and maybe you can figure it out. Maybe he is just biting his toenails. My Hobbs does this sometimes when his toenails get too long...just a thought.......

Yes, but someone else said that you have to get ORGANIC or UNFILTERED Apple Cider Vinegar. I was not able to find that in the grocery store. I ordered it online at the Bragg website posted above, but I know you can get it at any Fresh Food Mart of Health Food Store. I am sure there are a lot of those in NY. But if you want to order it, it isn't expensive either.

I got the 32oz, which is the second to last product on the page. If I like it, I will get the gallon next time. I am going to try putting it in their drinking water and maybe try rinsing Hobbs with it since he has dandruff. I'm going to see how I like it before I get the big gallon size. It's only $4.09 for the 32oz and $12.98 for a whole gallon.
