| Do you know if it has the same effects if ingested. Lola gets an Omega three oil added to her food everyday. It has defintely helped with the dryness, but she is still itchy. I don't like the idea of a bad smell or of an oily coat, so I would like to know if anyone has tried adding it to their food.

| My six year old Yorkie has had "itchy" problems and occasional hot spots for years! Six months ago my new vet gave me "Skin Formula 3V caps" which has fish oil and vitamins. Presto! Like a miracle - no more itchy skin! I give it 3 times a week or daily if I see him scratching. He loves them and thinks they are treats. Makes his coat so soft and healthy.

| Well, Demi just had an oatmeal bath with a ACV rinse and some dabs of emu oil on the spots she's been scratching. It's too soon to tell if the itching has lessened, but I can testify that her fur is amazingly soft, silky, and shiny. The ACV is definitely going to part of our regular routine. To the person who mentioned this, thanks for the tip! |

but like I said, it did make her coat slightly greasy looking, but I think what I will do next time, is spray her with this mixture the day before her bath, then bathe her and use the apple cider vinagar on her after her bath.

| Me, Cindy?, yes, I love the stuff. I use it on any and all cuts and booboos. I am reposting the link to the Laid In Montana website. They have a huge assortment of emu oil products made with Montana grown emus -- they even have an emu oil supplement for humans ![]() http://www.laidinmt.com/ |

Straight from the bottle. The Herbal Wound Spray has all sorts of good natural healing agents, emu oil, tea tree oil, are the main ingredients, but there is a whole list of healing herbs.
