Donating YT 30K Club Member | If they are on the road they should try and get to a pet store and get nutrical and maybe some cesars wet food, most puppies will eat cesars. It's not great food but at least it's food for now.You can get it at Walmarts, walgreens, food stores etc. if not possible some pancake syrup will help. Good luck

| Congratulations on your new Yorkie baby!! When we brought our Toto home [at 16 weeks] she wouldn't eat anything for several days. It scared us spitless!! I took her back to the vet three times that week and each time she was just fine! She just flatly refused to eat anything! Our vet told us to keep a little bottle of white Karo syrup with us at all times in case her sugar dropped suddenly and later had us use the vet formula NutriCal. I keep a tube of the NutriCal on hand to this day and it's been three years. Since your parents are traveling with her, perhaps they might try some baby food? Toto has always been a picky eater and we have given her the chicken baby food and also smashed up the little Gerber chicken sticks. Good luck and please update us on your baby. Can't wait to hear how you like her!!

| Check this out! The thread for Dangerous foods for dogs says baby food is not good for dogs..... you may want to rethink baby food!!!! Baby Food: Can contain onion powder, which can be toxic to dogs. Can also result in nutritional deficiencies, if fed in large amounts. |

| You Might want to try mixing some scrambled egg or cottage cheese with the food

| Keep giving her the karo or nutrical. She'll eat better once she gets settled in her new home. Meanwhile feed her anything you can gether to eat. Cottage cheese scrambled eggs, chicken, or you can try some Cesars. Mine loved Cesars. After she is settled, leave dry food out for her to free feed, and gradually decrease the amount of other food that you are giving her. Congratulations and welcome to YT. |
