| How often Do your Yorkie Sleep? Hi all, Kiki is now 10 months old and to me he seems to sleep a lot. He's not sick. He plays when he is up and about. As a matter of fact he loves to play tug with his toys and run like crazy around the house. He is also eating good. I just recently bought him his own bed and he just curls up in that thing and seem to just lay in it and lounge. I am just curious to know how often do you babies sleep? Thanks ahead for the feedback.

| My sweetie always sleeps 4 hours in the morning, and I let him out go potty and eating and playing for 1 hours and put him back into crate, so he sleeps in the afernoon for 4 hours, when we are back, let him out again, play, eating, etc,for 2 hours, and then he is tired and go to sleep for 1 hour, after his waking up, he plays again until we go to sleep and he sleeps almost the whole night. I am also worried that if he sleeps so much, he is 13 weeks old now. Is that 3 hours' time per day outside (playing, eating etc.) enough for him? He is very healthy and cute. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Great question, I have been wondering that also. Cali since she hit about 10 months of age reallt started sleeping more, a lot more. She plays when she is up, or she spends a lot of time looking out the window or sliding glass door. I am not complaining, lol just was worried since she wasn't the healthiest puppy. Sounds like she is pretty normal!

| I wish i could say JUST how much layla sleeps because it really depends on the day... like if we are travelling from London to Sault Ste Marie (7hrs) she will sleep it straight through and other days... if we are really busy.. she is up all day and doens't really nap... so my schedual really kinda depicts hers. |

| As long as your dog is full on (plays hard) - and then full off (sleeps soundly) - you have a healthy dog. So says my vet. |
