| puppy teeth removal Hi, I'm new to this forum and I have a 7 month old female. I was recently told by the vet that she will likely need to have 4 teeth removed. I don't intend in spaying her so the tooth removal would be its own procedure. I was wondering if anybody could give me a rough idea how this is going to cost? Obviously money doesn't matter when it comes to my baby's health but I was just wondering... Thanks in advance for your help! |

| I just had my 2 year old Joey's teeth cleaned and 4 baby teeth removed and it was a total of $152.00. I personally didn't think that was bad at all.

| Depends on the vet... You might want to have them do an estimate for you. Charlie's neuter, microchip and 6 extractions cost me just under $800. |

| Yeah, $152 isn't bad at all... The $800 it probably because of the neuter and microchip. I will shop around though. Thanks for your help! I'm from New Bedford AND Milford MA. Last edited by lilacpyramid; 08-18-2006 at 09:40 AM. |

| No, the microchip was $35 and the neuter would've been about $170... So about $205/$210 for the neuter. The extra $600 was because of the teeth. |

| Hi & welcome to YT. The cost will depend on your vet. It is highly recommended that you have blood work done before any anesthesia. The bloodwork usually runs about $80 and anesthesia is usually around the same price. Extractions can cost anywhere from $20 each on up. Good luck.

$800 is still a lot for neutering..is that what your vet quoted you? Rocky got a quote for his, and his one testicle hasn't dropped so his neuter is going to be more expensive, and including 6baby teeth removed it was about $3XX. And that included microchipping. Congrats on the new baby! | |

| Bella had spay, microchip, and teeth pulled for almost 400$ at a private vets office. I am taking Gizmo to Petsmart and have the wellness plan and they said it doesn't cover teeth pulling so they will charge 30$ a tooth!!! I think that's expensive for Petsmart! |

| I just picked my Charlie up from the vet where he was neutered, microchipped, nails trimed, teeth cleaned and had extractions. Including the blood work and the over night stay charge it came to $220. My vet charged $5.00 per tooth for the extractions. Most expensive part was the micro chip.... at $60.00! |

| Our vet charges $37 - that's for the anesthesia and the teeth pulling is free.
