| Strawberries? Does anyone have any experience with strawberries and Yorkies? No No or OK? My wife gave Bailey a bit of berry and soon after he seemed to have a little choking, wheezing incident that lasted for 30 minutes. Not too serious but it went away and we were wondering if it was related to the strawberry bit? Thank you, Samc and Bailey |

| I'm no vet, but I would say that was definitely an allergic reaction, and NEVER give any strawberries again, no matter how small. The next time could be fatal! |

| Yes, I agree it sounds like he may be allergic. I give my girls strawberries sometimes

| There is something in strawberries that make many humans have an allergic reaction, I am not familiar with pets though eating them. I gave a bite of pear to Schatzie the other day but so far have not with any berries. I am sorry Bailey had an episode and relieved to hear it was nothing serious.
