| flea medicine reaction Hi all, Can anyone tell me if their babies have a reaction to Frontline or other flea medication?? My Cricket seems to react strangely to Frontline....... she paces around for hours and it's almost as if someone dropped hot water on her skin. She tries to hide from it, and completely loses her appetite for 24 hours. Today we switched to Advantage, it's a little better, but she's still pacing and is hiding out as we speak. By tomorrow afternoon she'll be fine, but I've never seem anything like this in any of my other pets........ Any clues??? Thanks for your help, Cricketsmom |

| I don't use it because I don't trust it. It says clearly on the package, "Wash hands immediately after use". If it's so bad that I have to wash my hands, what is it doing to our babies? I have heard from a business contact that his malteese has gotten seriously ill from using one. The poor dog can't walk in a straight line any more and only can walk in circles. In addition, he now gets seizures too. I've only found 2 fleas on Jazzie this year.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I use Revolution and I put 1/3 of the tube on Cali the first month and no reaction so this month I put the whole tube on no reaction. I like the revolution as it covers heartworm, fleas and ticks.

| Frontline I ues Frontline on my Yorkie. The first few times I used it he reacted just like your dog. I told my vet but he said he never heard of a dog reacting like that. (The product just came out.) I now take him to a park. I put the Frontline on him there and then take him for a walk. Since I started this he does not pace. You might want to check with your vet before you try this. I came up with this on my own. I have been doing this for a few years. Now that he is older (13) I also don't use the whole tube. |
