| The heartaches of buying a dog in a Pet shop. First, shame on you!! Next, before you go getting this puppy anymore shots, have your Vet. do a titer test to see if he needs any. |

| I don't know about anyone esle but this is offensive. Quote:
I mean. come on. She/He knows they did wrong now. don't rub it in. I'm sure you've made mistakes. Sometimes, forewarned is nice. but Heaven help us. it doesn't always, happen. TyTy PS. When I moved from Maryland to CA. my 8 week old Shih Tzu in the 90's was required by Delta to be on board with me. So yes. Toto had her rabies then. either that or I refused to go. or find her a new home. not happening. | |

| Well, today I took my 3 month old to the VEt to get her third shots. I got headfaked and they gave her the rabies on top of the other shots. So far, she is just sore, no sickness I see tonight. She was vaccinated by breeder at 6 weeks and had her 2nd and 3rd shots at 9 weeks and 12 weeks. Some say the 6 week shots do not count (cancelled by mother's immunity). Other Vets say she has had all her puppy shots, see you in another year. Most breeders here give the puppy their first shots, hence the advertisement of Yorkie with shots. Does anyone know which is correct? Is my Ginger done and to just receive a booster in a year? That will probably be her last shots then (unless I have to get her rabies for one reason or other). I am just wondering whether or not to give her another round in 16 weeks to be safe. Thanks Candini
