				   | Did I read on here that breeders recommend Rabies Vaccination at 6 months instead of the traditional 4 months? Avery is four months and I sure wouldn't want to jeopardize him either way! He's also due a parvo vaccination per the vet, but should I wait on it? |

				   | smaller dogs can have problems with the rabies vaccine at such a young age (4 months)....... im opting not to get the rabies vaccine at all.... but people with small dogs usually wait till about 6 months |

				   | in NY, it's illegal to have a dog without a rabies vaccine. We have to register our dogs with the Dept. of Health and the vaccine info goes straight from the vet to the Dept. of Health. They send a card saying that you are the owner, and they send a little tag, which you're required to have on your dog the whole time. Archie had his shots at about 5 months. Did you talk to your vet about the rabies shot, though? I guess it depends on if you take your dog outside a lot where he's around other dogs. |

				   | Unfortunately, we have no choice. The animal control is like the guspato!!! They're crazy. You would think that they were investicating murder scenes the way they snoop around peoples houses looking for dogs that aren't licensed. Plus there is a 3 dog max. which is dumb because we all have pretty good sized property. I think that it should be done on a maximum weight not maximum dog.

				   | Bella got her rabies shot Thursday, she was 13 wks + 1 day. It was a rough night. She dragged her leg, wouldn't eat, wouldn't let us touch her but within 24 hrs she was back to normal. Here in CT you must have rabies to get the dog license or for puppy class and it is needed at 3 months. At least now I know she won't get rabies if she were ever exposed, but it was a hard 24 hrs to go through

				   | Tia will be getting hers sometime in May. I orginally wasn't planning on it with her, but since I will be moving to Hawaii in a few years and they require it to get her into the state, that's the plan

				   | It's $47 for Stewie to get his rabies and last distemper/parvo. I am a bad mommy and lost his papers (not that papers really matter) and had his records with them. Since I'd rather be safe than sorry, he is getting another shot. I switched vets within the first week I got him so they don't have his records either.
