				   | I noticed that last month when I gave Jerome his heartgard pill, he got an explosive diarrhea, the next day he was fine. Well, he was due for the next heartgard yesterday so I gave him the pill. ( I forgot to mention that the first time I gave him the chunky beef flavor heartgard, this time I gave him the white regular heartgard pill because I thouhgth that the previous one was too rich for him and that caused the diarrhea) He got explosive diarrhea again. Is this normal? Has anyone's yorkie gone through this before? Should I see the vet and see if he can recommend something else?

				   | Another thing you can do is see if your vet carries revolution flea preventative. It has the heartworm preventative in it.

				   | It did happen when Bud was a puppy. I was told at the time that because it was Heartguard plus there was a dewormer in it. The second day he was fine. It does not happen any more. Is it Heartguard +? |

I called the vet and he told me what he thought was happening. It was the wormer in the heartgard+. Call your vet to make sure and ask his advise. This way you have a positive answer and you don't have to worry about it. Buddy did, eventually stop having that problem as he got bigger. | |

				   | Hi, I was told by my vet to just give half the chunk of it, so I cut them in half. Maybe your little one is just getting too much.....scary. |
