| Fritz won't eat out of his bowl anymore!! Help! My yorkie is 8 months old and all of a sudden will not eat any food out of his bowl. We either have to dump it on the floor or hand feed him. He will literally go all day without eating. Should we just wait him out and he will eventually eat? Smiles

| This is so funny to hear because our yorkie, Hobbs, won't eat out of hiw bowl, either! We have to dump some food on the floor or he won't eat. Luckily he eats just hard food so dumping it on the floor really doesn't hurt anything. |

| my baby did the same thing for awhile, i would put her food on the floor and she would eat, put it in her dish she would ignore it......then i put her food on a flat plate and she would eat....then eventually back into her bowl. i think it was just a phase and zoey was about 8-9 months old when she did this also. I really did'nt care where her food was as long as she ate. try the saucer or small snack plate. hope this helps

| funny how you think your furbaby is strange . . until you realize he isn't Well, that is what is happening with Tiger too. He barely touches his food . . he eats all the wet food that is coated to the kibble and that's it . . and this only happens in his morning meals as his evening is no problem. I have been hand feeding Annika only because she eats way too fast . .she's quite the piggy ! So, 2 days ago I decided to hand feed tiger the dry kibble just to see if he will eat it . . lo and behold . .he now is eating quite a bit when hand fed . .darn those spoiled brats . . what am I gonna do when I go on vacation . . . |

| spencer wouldn't eat out of his bowl either so we bought him a plate and he eats his food off the plate but he will eat our german shepherd zoe's food out of her bowl and and put it on the floor then eat it. but he seems to like the plate try putting his food on a plate instead of dumping it on the floor. Im just suggesting it not to make you mad. but yeah the plate idea worked for us. hope this helps
