| Royal Canin Mini Puppy 33 I just got home from Petsmart with Royal Canin Mini Puppy 33, and Lola LOVES it!!! I mixed some in with her old food to start her getting use to it & she just picked out the Royal Canin and left the other food like it was chopped liver. <well, maybe not chopped liver, she would have gobbled that right on up...more like...chopped carrots...Lola's NOT a veggie eater....> But my question is, I only feed dry food, and I was wondering if any of ya'll that do feed/have fed Royal Canin Mini Puppy 33, if you mix it with wet, if so, what kind/how much. Thanks!!!!! |

| I did feed Baby some RC, but then I stopped. My mother still had some left over and was giving it to Baby, and she does like it. BUT...I've noticed her start itching again, so I'm thinking it's the corn. How I feed Baby is this: I give her dry all day, now it's the RC mixed with Merrick. Then at night, I give her 1/3 of a can of Merrick. She does prefer the wet, but all dogs probably would! LOL Many Yorkie owners never feed wet. I like to, as I think of it as a nightime treat.

| all my animals love royal canin. I leave my 2 other dogs food out all the time. they get a mix of RoyalCanin 25 and Merrick(turkey or cowboy cookout). I mic them both together. Holly gets RoyalCanin Yorkie mixed with Merrick Puppy plate in her bowl. But I see her once in a while sneak some bits of food from her brothers bowl and they do the same for her . I also use Nature Variety Frozen Food with Holly too. My other two do not like it but she loves it. She gets that maybe once or twice a week as a treat instead of her regualr food. The natures variety I use is the veal(the rep told me the animals have less allergies to veal?I dont know for sure).

| Royal Canin 33 and a question My breeder started off my yorkie on RC 33 dry free feeding. When I got her home, I babied her a bit and added some warm water and a smidge of Gerber's chicken baby food. I can hear her crunch a little of the dry kibble. She seems to like the mix. Eventually I will wean her off the baby food. I am trying to feed her "on schedule" to help with potty training. Question: How much exactly should a 10 wk. old 2 1/2 lb. yorkie puppy eat per meal and how often? I find the instructions on the bag confusing because they talk about ADULT weight and puppy age. | My Roxie eats the one for Yorkshire Terriers but did eat the puppy one also. Just that and nothing else. No can food or extra additives. Just the dry food. No wet can food mixed in. She is 1/1/2 years old. No problems. No itching, scratching or anything else. Works for me!
