it was too cute. I can say she actually likes the food. At first i thought she would eat anything to be honest, but i can see that she enjoys this food.

| We feed Sully Nutro natural choice small bites.....but I'm not opposed to changing him to something better. But I'd rather be able to buy it localy, like at PetSmart. I am enjoying reading this thread getting ideas of if we should switch or not. On one hand, he does fine on it and there's not much need to change....but hey, if there's something better, I'm not opposed to making the change for my baby! Like you, Nicole, I'm looking for reasons to say on or reasons to switch off the food I'm currently feeding him. So that's not hijacking, is it? LOL. We tried Cowboy Cookout a few months back and Sully absolutely despised it! LOL. And he really isn't very picky otherwise!

According to their website, my very local PetSuppliesPlus carries the food, though I've yet to see it there. I'm going right now to check it out and see if maybe Sissy might eat this!!!!

| In my quest for a better food for Wosie, I went online to find a local Innova retailer. A groomer's shop about 12 miles from my house came up, I went there, and in the course of talking to the groomer, found out she had a yorkie to re-home. Thus Dreama came into our lives! Dreama was already on Solid Gold Wee Bits Dry, and it is a good food, so we are leaving her on it. Wosie is currently on Innova Puppy Dry (the reason I went to the groomer was due to the fact that Petsmart nor Petco carry it, and I am GLAD they don't or we wouldn't have Dreama the Diva!), and I will be weaning the Wose to the Wee Bits as soon as this bag runs out. They both get a teaspoon of Innova Evo wet mixed with the dry food, along with 1/4 tsp Missing Link and a sprinkle of Denta Treat for their toofies. I too was concerned about the protein content in the Evo, and that is why the girls get so little on their dry food.

Finally found the Chicken Soup. I bought the puppy formula. Sissy smelled it, put a piece in her mouth and then dumped it!! I'm going to keep some dry in her bowl and see if she might change her mind. That now makes 6 brands I have tried!! What is her deal?!

I have Hobbs on the puppy and he just loves it for some reason! We tried Pro Plan, Nutro, Royal Canine, Innova, and a couple others that I can't remember and he didn't like any of those! I wonder if a fellow YTer could send you a small sample of food that they have so that Sissy can try it without you having to go out and buy a whole bag?? That is the way I found out Hobbs liked Chicken Soup...a YTer mailed me samples of all the foods she had bought for her yorkie to try. I put them all out and Hobbs picked the Chicken Soup...he would not touch any of the others. But, all yorkies are different! You will find something that Sissy likes as much as Hobbs likes Chicken Soup. Hopefully someone will send you some samples of something. | |

| I have limited the choices down to three dog food brands that I think are the best and I want to try. Merricks, Innova, Chicken Soup. Does anybody have samples of any of these that you can send me to see which one they like the best?? I would hate to buy a bag of dog food to find out that they don't like it, especially since these brands are rather pricey.
