| Pray for my little Girl!! I just got Peanut on Wednesday night, Everything was fine intill yesterday... She didn't want to eat or drink anything I tried to give her. So I got onto this wonderful website and searched for tips on what I could do for my little girl. I went and got pedialyte she drank some of that but kept trying to puke everything up. I got her up this morning, she would walk or anything. I was really worried about her and called in sick to work to stay with her so I could take her to the Vet. On my way there she has a siezure, it was one of THE scariest things in the entire world I have ever been through. My choc. lab was licking her trying to calm her down (he thinks its his baby). By time I got to the vet I was mess crying and wanting everything to be ok for my little girl, The vet has her now as we speak to run some tests on her. I know I've only had her for five days but she is my little baby girl. I'm new to the Yorkietalk Family, but I can feel the love for everyone already. We can use all the puppy, doggie and human prayers that we can get to get through this hard time! |

| I hope she is ok. I know how scary it is. My baby got sick the second week I had her, and I was a mess. You would have thought I had birthed her myself with the way it felt. I was a helpless new mommy waiting for answers from the vet!Luckily everything turned out ok and a week of anitbiotics cleared her right up! We will keep you in our prayers

| We are all pulling for little Peanut. My daughter's dog, Buddha, got coccidia and refused to eat three days after we brought him home. We took him to the vet and hooked up to an IV because he was dehydrated. The vet finally got him to eat and they treated the coccidia and we syringe fed him for 5 days. He made it and is a happy, heathy 2 lb 6 month old now. I know you are scared and it sounds like she had low blood sugar which is common. I will pray that she is alright. I f you need to know how and what to feed with a syringe, let me know and I can send you the instrauctions. It's reall easy, but most vets won't go to those lengths with people. My breeder taught me how to do it. She advised not to let them tube feed a little puppy. Syringe feeding is better. Please let us know when you hear anything. |

| UPdate on Peanut!! Thank you all so much for you Love from the both of us. Peanut was at the vet all day today without her mommy, but and iv and some special food helped out a lot. Her blood tested ok, and she tested negative for parasites. One more test won't be back till tomorrow morning for her kidney shunts. I'm not sure exactly what that is but I read a lot about it on this site. She is now back to her spunky self attacking her older brother Luke trying to get him to play.... Thanks again, I'll keep you posted on how she is doing, she seems more and more like her mommy, stubborn, when it comes to her food. So I guess its going to have to be an experiment. We Love our new family (YorkieTalk) |
