| The two Purina products listed were awful! We've had Bailey on Purina Pro Plan Small Breed Formula Puppy since we got her. It was what she had been fed before we got her. She's almost 16 weeks now. If I'm reading the calculation method (and the ingredients) correctly, it comes out to an 88. Not as good as I would like, but maybe good enough to keep her on for a short while - until we decide on something better. Has anyone else done the calculation on this food? |

do you know about iams/eukanuba animal testing problem? I wouldn't feed it to any animal of mine. plus there are lots of better foods out there then that. check out this thread for more info on iams cruelty http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=iams+cruelty or check out http://www.iamscruelty.com/ . if you already know this then disreguard my post. i just like to inform people about it just incase they don't know and would like to change what they are doing for the better.

| Yaaaay!!!!! I'd forgotten about this thread, but had used it to rate Ginger's food a few months ago. In the meantime, I've had to switch foods due to allergies. Just a short while ago (meaning 1:30 this afternoon ) I settled on Pinnacle Trout and Sweet Potato. PINNACLE Trout and Sweet Potato got 103 (and I think it should get extra credit since she's not allergic to it )I know there are foods out there that rate higher, but I don't believe there's anything else that's safe for her to eat that's any higher. Thanks LDM for posting this (way back when)...I'm sure now that it's resurfacing some of our new members will appreciate the info!
