| Food My yorkie is eating fine and I give her the little ceaser beef and the eukabania pebbles but she only eats the ceaser and not the pebbles and the vetanarian said to stop feeding her the beef, and so I did but when I feed her the pebbles ony she eats like five and thats itso I do not know what to do So I called the vetanarian and he put my yorkie on a special diet food for 2 days and she loves it but now I feed her the little beef again and she eats it first and never eats the pebbles!So what should I do

| Have you tried heating up the kibble? 10 seconds in the microwave can work wonders, sometimes with a dash of water as well.

| Eating dry food Hi there! I was having the same problem when i first got my Kiwi. But thanks to a great idea from my breeder we have managed to switch her completely to dry food (no caesars needed, nor do we warm it up). My breeder told me that the puppies are more inclined to eat when there is a very small amount in their bowl. Try placing about 10 kibbles in, and see how your puppy does. If she eats those, add five more. I'm just wondering how much you are feeding her, it may be possible that you are giving her to much. Kiwi (who is 10 weeks old) eats an average of 15-25 kibbles per meal(4 meals a day). I hope this works. Best of luck! |
