| Does your yorkie do this? I've noticed my little Louie bite and licks the tops of his paws-he's been doing it for a while, but lately it's been a lot more. I asked the vet about it and he said he is too young to have allergies (He's only 11 weeks)? What else could this be?? Dry skin????

| Yoda still licks the tops of his paws. You can check to see if there's any matted hair and if he has any like bite marks or anything. Try to scratch it for him and see if he likes it. Dry skin could be a factor, if you wade through his hair, see the condition of his skin around that area. |

| Sandy licks her paws sometimes too. For her, it usually means they need to be combed out because the fur has gotten a little tangle or something. After I comb them, she stops licking

| Allergies = Children's Benedryl! Sully does have allergies - when they start acting up, we give him a 1/2 doses of children's benedryl, and it helps (our vet told us to do this.) My hubby keeps saying Sully has fleas, but we know that's not true because we give him frontline plus every month, and even that is waterproof, they say.

| Benedryl ...it didn't necessariliy make him sleepy, really — he just slept harder when he took his little naps, if that makes sense. He didn't take any more naps than usual, and he played and ran around just as hyper as he normally does....but when he crashed, he CRASHED. Which was just adorably cute because we were at my g'mother's house at Christmas time and everyone got to hold the cute sleeping puppy! LOL. If you would like to see his Christmas (naptime) photos, Click Here! :-) My 5 year old cousin felt like a million bucs when Sully chose her lap for a 30 minute nap! She felt like a grown up...you should have seen her LOL! (Photo included in the above link.)
