| Dog Food Brands I am just wondering what everyone feeds their yorkies and what brands of dog food you should avoid. So what dog food do you think is good and what dog food do you think is bad? I am just interested in what everyone thinks...

| I feed Royal Canin mini puppy and Nutro Choice puppy lamb and rice. She doesn't like the Nutro Puppy chicken small bites. She likes to have a bit of a choice.

| I feed my two Yorkies Royal Canin Mini Yorkshire 28. They love it & their coat is so glossy and teeth very clean and white. I noticed a difference in their teeth, because I brush them 3 times a week.

| I fed my yorkie Canidae. Now I am feeding my yorkie Nutro Lamb & Rice. I used to feed him Royal canin, I think it`s good food. But strangly the ingredients in RC here in Europe are different then in the U.S.A In the U.S.A the RC puppy is preserved naturally with tocopherol but here it is preserved with artificial preservation such as BHA. Also it has animal fat , but in the States it contains chicken fat as I remember. In my opinion, RC in the U.S.A seems better. I would suggest you to try Canidae, Natural balance, Organic , Avoderm ,Nature`s variety or Eagle pack. Unfortunatelly they are not available here where I live, but they seem to be very good quality foods. I would avoid Eukanuba though, because this company performes tests on animals. |

| I went through several brands before I found one Ollie would eat. Science Diet. Lately I have been setting out bowls of the Eukanuba and Iams and Royal Canine #30 baby dog. Now that she has a choice she eats one brand one day and another the next. go figure. |

| About Avoderm I have recently heard about this food and I wondered about people who have tried it. Aren't avocados suppose to be bad for dogs? I am curious if this food may help with dry skin. Any suggestions? |

| I also rotate mine about every three months. They are on Burns puppy now. Then Natural Balance and Flint River. I have tried Artemis, Innova, and Canidae. I'm going to try Eagle Holistic, Karma Organic and Newman's Own in the future. Good Luck........Good food makes healthy furbabies.
