| Eww...Nutri-Cal The vet told me to give Scooter (now almost 12 weeks) some Nutri-Cal with each meal so he doesn't have problems with hypoglycemia (spelling ). Well, he hates it! I have to pin him down and smear it on his tongue to get him to take it. Anyone else have this problem? Is there some better-tasting alternative out there? |

| Well then, just put some karo syrup in their water and that will take care of it. |

| I have the same problem. My pup liked the taste at first and now won't eat it.She is a picky eater,so not sure if mixing it in food would work either. They often talk about using Karo syrup on this site-maybe try that? You can put a little in the water. Is that a special syrup--I live in New Zealand and haven't heard of that brand. Or is it just like any other one? does your pup eat well otherwise? He may not need the nutrical then.

| See if he will take a little Karo syrup with his food -- same concept -- though it doesn't have the needed vitamins and nutrients that Nutrical has. My pup gets a little "shot" of Karo each morning because he has had hypoglycemia. He won't eat Nutrical in his food, though. I keep the Nutrical for "energencies."

| I use Nutri-Stat by Tomlyn and my dogs love it. It says irresistable taste. We recently added a new baby to the household and everybody lines up for their little taste of Nutristat. I don't know if I'm just lucky they like it or Nutristat tastes better than Nutrical. |
