| Question on Good vs Expensive Dog Food Hi, I have a question concerning dog food. I've seen different dog foods mentioned but not sure which is best for a Yorkie's diet. Can ya'll Yerkes a quality dog food that might help my girl. She is sensitive around her nose/mouth area to dog food. I started out with Pedigree, then tried Iams but both both her. She likes wet & dry. Any suggestions which brand to try next? How about a or a on certain brands? Oh, and can you tell me where to find the product you recommend as well Thanks everyone!

| Yorkies are notoriously picky eaters. My Lola eats royal canine dry food. She eats Merricks puppy plate Grammy's pot pie, and Turducken wet food. I buy royal canine at Petco and Merrick's online. You can also find a store near you by going on their website. |

| My baby eats Royal Canin Puppy 33 , when he is ten months I will be converting him to Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier's formula. You can try Nutro Ultra or Nutro Natural Choice. You can find all of these brands at either PETsMART or Petco.

| I suspect your little one has trouble with corn being in her dog food. Here is an article that might help you read the labels on dog food. http://www.5stardog.com/dog-food.asp

| the breeder had bunjee on royal canin puppy 33, but he itched a bit, probably because of the corn so i switched his food. he did well on chicken soup and innova. he's now on a mix of innova puppy and avoderm. i'll probably try either merrick puppy plate or evolve puppy next. |

| I give a big thumbs up to Innova dry or wet foods!! My baby loves Innova Evo because the size is much smaller. I am also trying Merrick's Turducken b/c the Evo is a higher protein and my vet had recommended we switch to one that is not. As picky as she is I went by my local pet store and grabbed a sample. She ate the Turducken right away!! Good luck with finding a brand! You get what you pay for...so spending the extra few dollars is worth it for our babies! |
