| I'm scared on taking Royce outside Hello, I have a problem here i'm very reluctant to take my yorkie outside and let him walk on the ground because of all the bacterias and germs out there . He is usually at home or when i go out i hold him in my arms but my vet advised me to take him outside and let him walk and let him be exposed to germs ...otherwise he wont have a strong immune system and the first bacteria he catches will kill him . What do you think ? anyone here is overprotective and scared of letting their dog walk on the ground ? |

| I use to be really scred but I can't just keep themin my arms or inside all the time. They have tons of fun outside. I would say just make sure he is up on all shots and worming. I know nothing is 100% but you have to let them have fun also. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | If he hasn't completed his vaccinations, limit outside time to unpublic areas. That way you know what other dogs have been there. If he's had his vaccinations, he should be fine

| Let him run! Definately check with your vet to make sure he has been vaccinated properly for your area.....then let him run! There is nothing cuter that when they just run, and hop, then just plop down in the sun with a good old stick!!! (Have to take those away so he doesnt swallow it, but still cute!) |

| Have you got a safe fenced yard to let him out in? That would be a good place to start. Otherwise, make sure he is up to date with his shots and let him enjoy the outdoors. Although small, my wee girl loves outside and hates it when it rains and she can't go out! She has been really healthy since I got her,so no problems with germs even at dog parks!
