Have you got a safe fenced yard to let him out in? That would be a good place to start. Otherwise, make sure he is up to date with his shots and let him enjoy the outdoors. Although small, my wee girl loves outside and hates it when it rains and she can't go out! She has been really healthy since I got her,so no problems with germs even at dog parks!
