| Help! Condyle of humorous Fracture I'm new to this whole message board thing, but I am desperate for help and am seeking out other Yorkie lovers. My 4 month old pup fractured his condyle of the humorous (elbow). FYI he broke it in a baby gate, so be careful when using them. Anyway, because the bones there are so tiny the vet is telling me he requires surgery. Unfortunately, this comes at a high cost (he estimates anywhere between $1,000-$2500, not inlcuding any rehabilitation.) I can afford some of this, but not all of it. Does anyone know of any other treatments, or of any centers that help with this sort of thing? I can tell my little guy is in a lot of pain, so I am trying to fix him as soon as possible (his little cries are breaking my heart), but it's hard when I don't have the money to do this. Please help--I'll take any suggestions I can get. Last edited by Yorks; 04-06-2005 at 05:16 PM. |

| I am so sorry to hear about your little boy and wish I had information to give, but I haven't had any experience in that. I hope you can get some help from others here...I'll say a prayer for your little guy and hope he recovers from his injury and is free of pain. Best wishes! |
