| Feeding Scrambled Eggs? A family member told me that she feeds her dog scrambled eggs once in a while for the protein. Ruby has been on something of a hunger strike lately -- eating very little. I suspect it's because she's teething and doesn't like the hard food. Have any of you supplemented with scrambled eggs or know of any potential negatives of doing so? I put about half an egg on her food this morning, and she went to town on it (puppy food and all). Thoughts? |

| my aunt feeds her yorkie eggs every once in a blue moon as a treet, and they love it. I have never given them to my lexi though, hope it works out. Watch her poopies though, don't want to give to much and have the runs.

| Thanks! Thanks for your responses. I can't believe how quick you guys are! I'll remember not to give them to her too often but am glad to hear that it's not uncommon. I couldn't believe how much actually puppy food she ate with the egg! Thanks again! |

| Kobe gets scrambled eggs, rice or oats, pumpkin, & cottage cheese or plain yogurt. These were all OK'd by the vet. When he gets finicky we just add some of these items and he goes to town. |

| Ollie is a very poor eater, so I frequently give her cottage cheese or scrambled eggs to supplement protein. |

| My puppy's breeder gave her mum scrambled eggs to help her while she was feeding the puppies. I have read in various books that they are good for puppies and dogs needing a boost.
