| Gas!!! Does anyone else's puppy have bad gas. Illy's has been aweful the past few days. She doesn't act sick or anything, so I'm not sure what's going on. Is there anything that I should be worried about or is this normal?

| Nope no bad gas here. Tigger's only poofed a couple of handfuls of times. When I tried him on bil-jac, it was the worst. The main thing that causes bad gas is a lot of wheat or corn in their food or treats.

| Anal Glands I have noticed with Bella that when she has bad gas, that she needs her anal glands expressed. They sometimes get full and the vet will have to express them for her. Not to go into detail, but you might want them to take her into another room when they do it. It smells aweful. But on the good side, the gas goes away for awhile. Hope this helps! |

| My vet said to give them the simethicone drops that you give babies for gas...same dose it calls for infants. I tried it on Oscar a couple of times and did not see that much difference but he sure did like the drops!

| I call Hallie "stinky butt" about 8pm every night! She has always had gas, regardless of food or treats. |

| I know some dogs and cats do this. My little Yorkie does it only very occasionally. Lucky me! And - I'm sure that at least part of the time, it is diet-related. Good Luck! Carol Jean |

| What does she eat? I think some food comes out stinkier (and softer) than others and some causes more gas. |

| Jackson seemed to have bad gas on Royal Canine. He did not seem to have a stomach ache but the gas was awful. I have since changed to Nutro Natural Recipe small bites without a problem. |
