Does anyone know what "teary eyes" mean? It is only recently that I have noticed that Benji's eyes are so teary. His face is always wet. I clean his face everyday (just with a wash cloth) but I want to make sure this is normal and nothing to worry about. Allergy maybe? Or just a normal puppy issue? Thanks for the help.

It could be both. My little girl had the same problem but stopped tearing when she got older.

				   | Sometimes it's heredity, sometimes it's allergies. Bugaboo's eyes get watery if he's outside and it's windy. So do I.

Could be allergies or the wind. But it is often clogged naso-lacrimal ducts. They are the little holes in the inside corner of the eye that drains the tears from our eyes into our noses when we cry. Ask your vet to flush them when you have your baby altered or dentals done..Might help if they are clogged. If they just are malformed, they will not improve.

I have one who is exceptionally teary and not the others. So I am taking her to get her ducts flushed soon.
