im about 45 minutes from the city, but work right outside of jfk airport...
i dont go into the city, im a scardy cat...i live on long island..not far out, close to queens

Cool. I live about 1 hour away from the city too. I like to go in the city, but not by myself. I barely go in because it's too hectic. Changing the subject...I am so tired. I'm at work now, and I can't wait to go home.

Not in my experience, but we have very dark carpeting....

Pixie shakes when I leave in the morning too. I feel SO bad, but what can ya do? If I quit my job to be home with her, we wouldn't be able to eat!!
She doesn't care much for kongs (even when they're stuffed), but if I stick some treats in a Treat Ball she goes right to work on it and doesn't even look up. She's too busy rolling it around on the floor to even notice me leaving. I'll put little bits of Natural Balance rolls or Pupperoni or Cherios or whatever else we have in there. It works pretty well....
