Dark spots on belly? Hi, I noticed that little dark spots are appearing on my yorkie's belly. I'm a little concerned since I never noticed the spots before. I'm going to the vet asap but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows anything about it? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds as if some areas of pigmentation are showing up. Not a health problem but let us know what your vet says..

My girl had little dark spots on her belly when she was younger, i took her to the vet and she told me that it was yeast, the same thing that gets inside the ears if the ears have too much moisture. However, the reason why i was told that the little spots appear is that the yorkie was chubby and had too much fat on her belly, preventing moisture to escape, therefore lttle dark sopts appreaed. I dont know if u have the same thing, but that is waht i experinced; if u scrub a bit they will get off....the vet cleaned her....they disappeared aftet she lost the fat. Hope this helps.
