| Bathing after neuter/spay Bailey was just neutered 8 days ago and was wondering how long to wait until I can bathe him. He stinks something fierce!! The vet said 7-14 days and I'm not sure when I'm suppose to know when he is ready. We have taken his cone off and he is playing like nothing ever happened but I'm not sure what the incesion (sp?) is suppose to look like before I bathe him. I don't want it to get infected. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | My vet said to keep the incision dry for two weeks. If Bailey is feeling okay, you can give him a rubdown with the puppy wipes or the dry shampoo -- just stay away from his incision. |

| I would wait until his sutures are removed. If he has disolveable sutures wait unitl your vet recommends.
