| Water Issues, Pls help!! Hello all!!!! I have a question that I am hoping someone can help me out with. My Sam barfs everytime he drinks water. No matter the amount he throws it up. Can anyone tell me if this happens to your doggie. I am very worried. Thanks!

| My dogs dont do that. You might want to take him to the vet since he is vomiting so much.

| my puppy used to do that. but that's when i left him to drink as much water as he'd like whenever he liked. he'd sometimes drink so fast he'll barf a minute later. i started just giving him a little bit of water at a time and now he's doing fine. my husband thought i was being a mean mommy for controling my baby's water intake... until he left a whole bowl of water out for bunjee one afternoon against my instructions, and saw him vomit water shortly after drinking. now it's just a little at a time. but if your doggie is doing it every time and no matter how much water you give him. then it's time to check with your vet and see if there's something else wrong. |

| Hi hunniebunnie.. Thanks for your response! Sam is now ok and is no longer vomitting the water he drinks. I started giving him little bits of water at a time.. and keeping him calm. I am thinking maybe it was a phase. Now hes on to a new one.. Compulsive scratching
