my puppy used to do that. but that's when i left him to drink as much water as he'd like whenever he liked. he'd sometimes drink so fast he'll barf a minute later. i started just giving him a little bit of water at a time and now he's doing fine.
my husband thought i was being a mean mommy for controling my baby's water intake... until he left a whole bowl of water out for bunjee one afternoon against my instructions, and saw him vomit water shortly after drinking. now it's just a little at a time.
but if your doggie is doing it every time and no matter how much water you give him. then it's time to check with your vet and see if there's something else wrong. |
