| Question about Nutrical. When I brought Daisy home at 8 weeks she was a little under 2 lbs.. She is now almost 15 weeks and 4.6 lbs. I have been giving her nurtical everyday because that is what person that I got her from said to do. I have since learned (after finding yorkie talk) that pet stores are not the best way to go and I am wondering if she should still be getting the nutrical or not? She has never had a episode and eats like a champ.. Can I stop giving it to her? Thanks for your advise! |

| I would say that it is safe to stop giving NutriCal every day since she is eating well, although, 16 weeks is usually the time frame that you slow down. I would also always have some on hand though and of course always have some dry food out. Any time she doesn't act right I would give her some. Sounds like she is pretty healthy. |

| Don't worry as long as she is eating right you should have no problem. The breeder I bought my Daisy from told me to give it to her also. At first I did but saw she was eating well so I stopped. So far she's been very healthy. Thank God! So don't worry.... |

| I do give nutrical to my dogs, but only once in a while never everyday!! Petey was only 1. ? when I got him, he is 4lbs now and 6 months old.. Nutrical has too many calories in it to give everyday!! I would suggest stopping and giving only once every few day and start to ween her off it completly.
