| I used to feed Tiger twice a day, morning and about 5ish when I come home from work. The dosage is double in the morning. Now that I am crate-training him so I go home during my lunch hour, I feed him 3X . . mostly I actually use his food as treats so he can practice his tricks daily - 3X a day during meal time . . . it took him only 2 days to master the "handshake" . . . yipee! |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I used to free feed but Magic started to try and guard her food, so we have gone to twice a day, although it is taking them some time to adjust to the different routine!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I feed Cali 3 times a day and she's almost 8 months old. I only do it because of her hx of hypoglcemia. She doesn't seem to want to eat at some of her meals so I am thinking I will cut her to 2 meals and a snack.

| I feed my babies twice a day. Once in the morning then once around 5 or 6 p.m. I usually feed the same amounts each time so there's no accidents during the day when I am away at work OR during the night. When I first got them, about 2 years ago, I free fed. That didn't work because they wouldn't eat the dry food alone (without some moist mixed in) and leaving it set out all day wasn't good at all.

| I let Bruce free feed, because he rarely eats more than 3 or 4 little pieces of kibble at a time, and for every 3 or 4 he eats he spills about 10 (and yes sadly this is the kibble he likes best out of all we have tried)..He gets however many treats he "earns/deserves" throughout the day, and at night if we are having something I approve of him eating he gets a tiny little plate.

| I leave out dry kibble --puppy small breed--and offer wet, mixed with chicken or ham for lunch. She likes chicken necks for dinner--I for dinner and one for supper. She is only 14 weeks and has been a very fussy eater. She is starting to eat more now and to grow at last! |

| i feed 1/4 cup of kibble 2x a day. i leave 1/4 out in the morning around 8am but he may not eat it until noon. i feed the other 1/4 at night around 8:30 or so. he eats that and whatever remaining kibble from the day readily. if i really want him to eat the morning kibbles right away, i'll add a little milk or wet food. |

| I feed my two dogs a small amount of Premium wet food every morning - and they have dry IAMs out all day every day....which they have to be starving to eat. But, they do eat some of it. I feed them healthy people food (and often leftovers) in the evenings. Carol Jean |
