| Please I need help my boy doesnt want to eat Hello, My little boy Royce doesnt want to eat I basically have to force him to eat . He was eating RC then thevet gave me Medical development formula but he hates it so I switched to other brands of dry food ( organic ) what do I have to do to make him eat normally ( the recommended daily amount ) and without forcing him . He is not sick because he does plays and his tonsils are fine since he likes to eat carrots and groung beef but the breeder told me this is not a sufficient diet in terms of vitamins and that he needs to eat dry food . Please any advise I'm going crazy and really frustrated and worried last thing i did this morning was go to an organic pet shop and got about 10 samples of food . I gaveto him to taste one by one and he didnt like it .help please . ![]() |

| ![]() Give him some nutrical and change your diet. You can get this at ANY pet supply shop. Zoe wasn't eating much when I fed him Eukaneba. He now eats normally with Wellness. I also give him Merrick puppy plate (wet food) and he devours that within 2 seconds. If all this fails, head to the vet. Good luck hun!

| ![]() If he's not eating well he needs nutracal about 3 times per day. If you don't have any yet, you can use kayro syrup - maybe 1/2 teaspoon full 3 times a day. In fact you can try putting some kayro syrup on his dry food to see if that will help him eat it. At 3 months I was still softening Rowdy's dry food with warm water and there were times he woudn't eat it so I would drizzle kayro syrup over it. It usually always worked! I wouldn't worry about him eating dry right now, I'd just make sure he is eating. If he won't eat anything but hamburger, I would feed that to him. I had to give Rowdy the toddler (human) chicken sticks and he loved them and still does. I would also try good wet food, Nutro, Merrick, Innova - anything wet with vitamins and nutriants that you can get him to eat. When they are this little, you just have to do whatever you can to get them to eat.

Thank you very much for your feedback .In fact I read on this forum that if you mix his dry food with baby strained chicken and broth they love it so I tried that and it worked . I started today feeding him organic food and as treats I give him fruits or vegetables or small bites of cheese or peanut butter . He wights 2 pounds now but I now don't know the exact portions how much to feed him and how many treats a day ? Thank you | |

| ![]() Gucci doesnt like dry food alone either. I have been mixing a little cottage cheese, or yougurt with a little mashed banana in the morning. I switch each day. At night I mix a little wet food with the dry. She eats that way, once in awhile if really hungry she will pick on the dry alone. But very rarely. You have to see what works for your baby but he must eat. |

| ![]() I really can't say how much to feed him - I just tried to get Rowdy to eat about a tablespoon per feeding - whenever he would eat. Sometimes he would, sometimes he wouldn't - so I'm not sure how much I fed him. I just offered him food (maybe a tablespoon) about every 4 hours. If he ate and acted like he wanted more, I gave it to him. He was such a picky eater (and still is) that I just consistently tried - and he ate what he wanted.

| ![]() I am so glad you found something your baby wants to eat. The little ones can go down so fast w/out eating. Baby rice, baby jar'd chicken sticks, and boiled chicken livers has worked also. Keep up the good work! ![]()
