| Weird Noise Right After He Eats - Help (not Eating) Hi everyone I have a 12 week old male, his name is Max. Lately I have noticed that if he eats anything, sometimes even if I give him NutriCal he makes this noise, can't quite describe but it is not a burp it is more like a gutural sound. Well now he has stopped eating and I have tried handfeeding him, mixing dry food with wet food and just wet food. The only thing I haven't tried is human food and that is because I really don't want him eating human food. Has anyone been through this? Could this part of the theething process? I don't think so but I am trying to figure it out. Help! Thanks |

| Rowdy made a noise like that too - I always just thought it was a puppy burp. If he's not eating well you can try putting kayro syrup on his dry or wet food to see if that will help him eat it. At 3 months I was still softening Rowdy's dry food with warm water and there were times he woudn't eat it so I would drizzle kayro syrup over it. It usually always worked! I wouldn't worry about him eating dry right now, I'd just make sure he is eating. If he won't eat anything but people food, I would feed that to him. I had to give Rowdy the toddler (human) chicken sticks and he loved them and still does. I would also try good wet food, Nutro, Merrick, Innova - anything wet with vitamins and nutriants that you can get him to eat. When they are this little, you just have to do whatever you can to get them to eat.
