| Luna is HOMMMEEEEE!! *jumps with joy* Boy did I cry on my way back home with my baby, it's such a sad site to see my Luna being unlike herself. She hardly buldged when she saw me, I don't even think she could see me at first because of the "satellite dish" she now has around her neck. She is very mellow at the moment, just laying in her crate. I'm to give her 1/4 of water every 30 minutes to prevent dehydration. The vet never mentioned any pain relievers to give her so I called her when I got home and she suggested giving her 1/4 of a tablet of baby aspirin. Does anyone know if it's okay to give her the cherry flavored chewables? That's the one I have here at home, but I'm not sure if they sell any that aren't flavored. Well, I was so happy with how the vet came in before giving Luna to talk with me and go over everything that went on during the surgery. She also mentioned everything I need to know to help her recover at home. I'm not sure if you all want a detailed explanation of what the vet told me exactly but I will post the paper she gave me to take home with me. Oh, and the vet also gve me Luna's baby K9s, that she had to extract to prevent infection, to take home!! I was so happy because I have 3 other baby teeth here at home. Call me crazy, but I think it's so adorable! Well, ask away if you all want to know anything, I'm just not sure what I should say. Oh, I do think it's important to mention a very scary thing that happened to Luna during the surgery, her heart was fluctuating a lot, so the vet had to give her a shot to stablize it. She said after she gave her that shot everything was back to normal, *big sigh of relief*!! Thank you all very much for your prayers, they've come a long way. Well, I'll definately be around so don't hesitate to ask anything!

| I uploaded the instructions at photobucket, I wasn't sure if the size was too big for the forum. click here for the instructions given to me by the vet I also attached a few pictures of Luna now...so that you all that are about to get your babies spayed know what to expect when you see them for the first time after their surgery.

| Poor little Luna looks so sad in the picture! Hugs and kisses from Maddie and I! I am going to read your instructions just to get educated! I am so happy and relieved that Luna is over her ordeal. Has anyone heard how Hailey is doing? I looked at the calendar...was thinking it was 3 weeks till Maddie's surgery, but it is only 2. Yikes! Hope you and Luna get a good nights rest and hopefully you'll notice a huge improvement by tomorrow! Best Wishes! |
