| Yorkie Puppy Fresh Food Diet Hello everyone! I’m a yorkie mom once again! 23 years ago, I had yorkie puppies. So much has changed since then. I want to feed him as well as I can afford to but I’m so confused about what that is. Grain or no grain. Fresh or raw. Ok, so raw is probably out but I kind of like the idea of fresh food. So then there’s Nom Nom, Ollie, The Farmers Dog, Fresh Pets, Raised Right and so many more! Help!! May I ask those if you who feed fresh, which brand you choose and why? I’ve researched it to death. It’s decision time! Thanks in advance. |

| I would only feed WSAVA compliant foods https://wsava.org/wp-content/uploads...on-Toolkit.pdf. I believe Just food for dogs is supposed to be becoming or is WSAVA compliant. Other than that if I wanted to feed fresh I would be doing my own cooking using balanceit.com or petdiets.com for my resources. Several of the fresh food companies have had recalls. When fresh pet was being talked about in a Vet group they said that the thyroids of the meat sources being used in the food where being ground up with the other meats and used which was causing hormone issues with the pets eating the fresh pet. I'm not sure that these foods are made for puppies or not. Personally with a puppy I would only feed a food meant for puppies not something that says all life stages.

| Justfoodfordogs is the best and most researched, IMO.
