Grain free food alert
AKC posted this alert on their web site https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/nutrition/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-fdas-grain-free-diet-alert/
And I was wondering if this is a real concern or not. Most of dog foods that I see out there are grain free as it became a huge trend in the past years. I wonder if someone is trying to stop that trend with scary announcement.
What do you all think?

Itís not necessarily just grain free food itís foods that rely heavily on peas and lentils. It is a real concern, we had a member on here whoís dog got it and I have another very close friends dog who got the heart issues. The reason it is such an issue is because all these boutique food companies and fly by night companies came out with this grain free food without doing research and tests on it and now you see what happened because of it. There is absolutely nothing evil about grains anyway. I like to use Royal Canin and Wellness which both have lots of science behind their food and are very trustworthy.
