| concerned Freya baby acted constipated last night. She kept trying to go, and I was in such a panic I just let her try anywhere she wanted to. She kept arching her back and flexing her butt--I know what pooping looks like lol--with nothing happening. Then I decided to check her bottom. She had a lot of poop stuck to her bottom! Some it was dried hard. I had to go to work cleaning, with wipes and shampoo and a cloth. She's fine now...but I haven't seen any sign of poop since, tho. |

| How is Freya today? Mike is much younger than your girl, but I found that keeping his bottom's hair trimmer short helped a lot when he had a similar incident once. Also I noticed that giving him a slice or two of a frozen carrot makes his poop larger in volume and I think it helps keeping anal glands clear. And on the days his poop is little softer I make sure to wipe his bottom with a tissue or a wipe so nothing is left to dry out. Side note, surprisingly fresh carrots makes him sick, so I stick with frozen pieces that I thaw for a few minutes before giving to him. |

| You need to keep her butt shaved to prevent that. Trying and nothing coming out is pretty serious and could mean something bad. If she does that again or hasn’t pooped by today I personally would take her to the vet. You could also try puréed pumpkin.

We also bathe Bon Bon ourselves before his sanitary trim at the groomer. She appreciates it, and it is quicker and less strain on Bon Bon. Since we are in Wisconsin, it means he’s warm and dry while indoors. | |
