| Water consumption Hello! I was wondering does your babies stop to drink water more often in the cooler months? Or if you use the Wellness brand of food did it make your babies thirstier? Precious has began to stop more often for water & when she does she can drink for over 30 seconds. However, she is not drinking a lot. The highest has been only 3.4 ounces. I took her to the vet - her physical is great. She had bloodwork, urinalysis, & thyroid done & everything is great. She has no health problems. I just can not figure out why she’s stopping more often for water & seems to have an unsatisfiable thirst |

| Maybe the heat is drying her out.

| If you don’t have a room humidifier, you might want to get one for where you and your baby sleep. Homes in cold conditions can have very dry air. Comfortable humidity is about 30%. Less than that and you have dry skin, dry throat, sometimes bloody noses, lots of static buildup, and you need to drink a lot more water. My personal preference is for warm mist machines, but with a small, inquisitive dog, I’d get a pediatric cool mist machine. If you are into essential oils, you might also explore which can be added to a humidifier. Some can, IIRC, but I am not sure. |

| He's been on Wellness 3.5 years, before that it was Natural Balance (both are grain free kibble) he did not drink entire bowl of water after eating.
