If you don’t have a room humidifier, you might want to get one for where you and your baby sleep. Homes in cold conditions can have very dry air. Comfortable humidity is about 30%. Less than that and you have dry skin, dry throat, sometimes bloody noses, lots of static buildup, and you need to drink a lot more water. My personal preference is for warm mist machines, but with a small, inquisitive dog, I’d get a pediatric cool mist machine.
If you are into essential oils, you might also explore which can be added to a humidifier. Some can, IIRC, but I am not sure. |
